How to Set the Starting Date for a Logistic Agent in Shoreline Design

Options for Setting the Starting Date

  1. Using Lead Time:

    • Navigate to your simulation case.
    • Open the Build tab and select Logistics.
    • Add or edit your logistic agent.
    • Set the Lead time or Logistics lead time in the appropriate section. This setting will determine when the logistic agent becomes available for tasks.

  2. Creating Availability Periods:

    • In the Logistics tab, select your logistic agent in the Member list.
    • Add a availability period with your desired start and end dates that can repeat every year to prevent operations outside of these dates.
    • Alternatively add periodic periods of availability with days on and days off to prevent operations in the off period.
