Personnel and teams overview

Personnel are the employees involved in an operation — such as technicians, electricians, construction workers, or site managers — who perform tasks in a work order. Personnel also includes any user working in O&M Execution and Construction Execution. Operation planning requires personnel to be documented in the tool before they can be assigned to teams.

The offshore working employees are assigned to teams, and the planning happens mainly with the teams. This article shows how to add and edit teams as well as individual persons. A calendar with the employees added is available for each team.

An employee can only be added to a team if already documented in Shoreline. The first process is to create the employees and thereafter the teams. To manage employee unavailability, work schedules, and teams, or to view the resource calendar, navigate to the Personnel section in the menu bar.
