Release Notes January 14, 2026

This update improves how daylight constraints are modelled for logistics operations, giving planners more control and precision when defining operational windows.

Configurable Daylight & Twilight Rules for Logistics

Helicopter operations and time-critical logistics activities are highly sensitive to daylight and twilight conditions. The Shoreline Platform now supports configurable daylight and twilight rules for logistics planning.

Configurable Daylight & Twilight Rules

What’s New

  • Choose which daylight or twilight definition to apply to logistics operations, including none, official, civil, nautical, or astronomical
  • Apply daylight and twilight rules consistently across all logistics operations, not limited to helicopter transport
  • Manage these settings through a simple, unified daylight configuration in the user interface

Why It Matters

  • More operational accuracy: different logistics operations require different daylight thresholds, and planners can now reflect real-world constraints more precisely
  • Greater flexibility: custom buffers allow teams to build in safety margins without manual adjustments
  • Better planning confidence: clear, configurable rules reduce scheduling errors and last-minute replanning

Feedback and Support

If you have questions or feedback on these new features, please reach out to our support team or submit a ticket directly through the platform. Thank you for continuing to grow with Shoreline.
